Strengthening our recruitment

We began the month of May with a clear priority: partnerships. Drawing from the lessons of our pilot year, we recognized the need to strengthen our recruitment strategy.

Our training targets young women and girls from underserved communities, who often face complex, systemic barriers. We believe that access to relevant, high-quality skills training can play a critical role in changing their trajectory and that of their communities.

Special thanks to KCB Foundation, Forum for African Women Educationalists–Kenya Chapter, and the Maasai Girls Education Fund. Through Sylvia Mutua, Chrispus Mukumbu, and Esther Sanaiyan, we gained valuable insights on identifying and verifying candidates who truly align with our mission.

Their commitment to grassroots impact was clear and mutual. The conversations were purposeful, solution-oriented, and a reminder that collaboration remains key to scaling our work where it matters most

To reach those who stand to benefit the most, we must be deliberate about how and where we recruit. That starts with listening to those who know these communities best.

Many thanks once more to our partners on this incredible journey of empowering women through data science.
