ENabling Girls in AI and Growing Expertise (ENGAGE)
The ENGAGE Project, led by the University of Nairobi Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (UNITID), works to close the gender gap in Data Science and AI. We empower and mentor young women to create inclusive, community-centered innovations using data, AI, and machine learning.
In partnership with the University of California San Francisco and six regional universities, we are building a strong pipeline of skilled women leaders ready to enhance public health through data-driven solutions.
