Not long ago, many of our trainees had little or no access to technology. Today, they’re stepping into internships equipped with AI, Data Science, and Machine Learning skills.
When we hosted them at our offices, their stories reminded us that their ambition has always been there. What they needed was exposure to the digital skills shaping today’s world. They are now closing the development gap that too often limits young women and their communities.
ENGAGE Principal Investigator, Prof. Julius Oyugi, encouraged them to keep going. Not just to get jobs, but to keep learning and pursuing data science and artificial intelligence with passion, and build solutions that can change lives.
