Heading off for internship

What a journey the past 20 days have been for 120 young women from across the country. 20 days of learning, hard work, and some fun in between.

This year’s trainees, much like last year’s, have left an imprint on us here at ENGAGE, and they’ll definitely leave one on public health. They are now equipped to tackle public health challenges using the skills they possess in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.

Over the next six weeks, they will intern at community health organizations, where they will interact with real-world public health challenges and participate in designing solutions to improve the health outcomes of their communities.
